Welcome to Mr. and Mrs. Reimann's (to-be) blogspot! This is how we will be communicating our story during our time in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.
We have been officially accepted to teach at the christian elementary school El Centro Educativo Calvary in the city of 1million, Merida, Mexico. The city is located on the Carribbean tip of the Yucatan penninsula and is surronded by Mayan villiages. After almost a year of intense searching and prayer, we got in contact with Robert, the school director of El Centro Educativo. After a 25 pg application and a phone conversation over Skype, we were officially accepted as teachers at the elementary school. Tim and I will be teaching English reading and writing, Science and Bible class.
We are starting our new life together in the most exciting and adventure filled way possible. We will be married on July 31st, fly to the Isla Mujeres (an island off of Cancun) Aug 1st. and honeymooning until Aug 8th when we will take a 4hr bus ride to Merida.
We've bought our plane tickets, booked our honeymoon, and have 99% of our wedding details set. We are ready to go and see what God has in store for us in Merida and in our marriage. I am so incredibly blessed to be marrying my true love and my best friend, and am so happy that we are going to spend our first year together sharing in the challneing but amazing adventure that I'm confident Mexico will be for us!
